Fazaia Chain of Schools & Colleges
believe that assessment is inseparable from the teaching process; its prime
purpose being to improve student's performance. Assessment at Fazaia
educational institutions involves a mixture of techniques, which are used to
evaluate student's capabilities and lower as well as higher order thinking
skills. Fazaia Chain of Schools & Colleges administers an internal and
unified Mid-year and End-of-year Examination system which is robust, fair and
professional. In addition, class tests and bi-monthly exams are also a routine
followed during every academic session.
The examination system at Fazaia Schools & Colleges helps to assess strengths and weaknesses in curriculum and
teaching-learning methodologies. Moreover, such examination system ensures that
teachers and students are able to achieve the best of their abilities, thus
helping them to further improve themselves in future.
At junior level, from classes Prep to III,
informal examination system, in the shape of progressive assessment is
followed. Whereas, from classes IV to VIII, formal examination system is followed,
while keeping in view the requirements of higher level education system of the
country. The examination mechanism includes:

Send up examination for SSC (Class IX-X) and HSSC (Class XI-XII) are to be held about four weeks prior to the date for submission of admission form without late fee to the Federal Board. Pre-Board Examinations are to be held about four weeks in advance of the last date for submission of admission form to the Board with double fee.
NOTE
- The schedule of examination for classes IX, X, XI and XII varies in accordance with examination dates specified by FBISE. The pass percentage for different subjects is 40%.
- The weight age of midterm and final examination for classes Prep-VIII is as under
- Pre-VIII: Bi-Monthlies and End Chapter is 15%, Mid-Term 40% and Final Examination 60%
